I’m designing the Pwning Life system to be extremely effective when used alone, but if you want to multiply the effectiveness of the system join (or start!) a local group. Below is a map of local groups around the world.
How To Start A Local Group
- Go to the Pwning Life meetup page.
- Create a new group.
- You’ll all done!
How To Organize A Local Group
Organizing a local group is going to take a little more work than creating one.
After you’ve created your local group on meetup.com you’re going to want to make it real:
- Begin with finding one other person who will work through the Pwning Life system with you.
- Next figure out a regular day and time. I do mine every Friday at 7:00PM.
- Now figure out where you’re going to meet. I do my meetup at a coffee shop.
- Make sure you have enough materials for everyone. All you need is some extra paper and pencils.
- Use another topic to build the meetup around. Once you’re done going over the goals have some other activity to do. We play board games at mine. Maybe you could discuss a book, watch a movie, drink beer, etc.
Before trying to organize a local group it’s probably a good idea to work through the system for a few months on your own (or with some friends). Once you feel comfortable with how things work, take on the new challenge of organizing a local group. You do the same thing as a group as you would do on your own (set a goal, brainstorm, create a plan, work the plan). The extra people really help with the brainstorming and keeping you focused week in and week out.
If you have any questions I’m here to help!
